"I really don't understand the 4 star rating. This place is excellent! I've been living in Spain over 15 years and in terms of the south this service station is right up there. The €16 menu del día is wonderful value. We had salmonero, seafood soup, garlic chicken, pork churrasco, cheesecake & choc mouse all ranging from v good to really good along with a bottle of decent wine and coffees. You will eat better here than in many restaurants."

"A really nice motor way stop. Not your usual greasy spoon. The tapas on show was inviting and the tasting even better. I sampled the pepper gorilla and was very pleasantly surprised, a nice change from the normal potato and onion tortilla normally on offer, my wife had half a toastado, ground tomato, olive oil and Manchego Cheese. We both had and enjoyed very nice above average coffees, when the bill was presented it was under 8.00 euros. The service was relaxed, not fast, but this added to our pit stop. Recommended for good quality, reasonable prices, ample selection. Would definitely and will stop again next time we're passing by."

"Very good place to stop during your drive between Valencia and the south Costa Blanca, very fast service, big portions and good choice. 14 euro per person inclusive of menù del dia (3 courses), salad, drinks and coffee. Excellent value for the money. Only downside is that nobody speaks any English, but if you are open to surprise dishes it's very fun"
